With the development of the market and policies, fans are becoming more and more important as a necessity for ventilation, exhaust, dust removal and purification. The correct installation of fans is very important, so how should fans be installed in different places?

1. Ground installation
①The fan should generally be installed on a concrete foundation, but for small fans with a small size and low motor power, they can be installed directly on the ground without a foundation and fixed with expansion bolts. Even so, attention should be paid to the strength of the foundation. .
②When installing, ensure that the fan is in a horizontal state. In principle, the main shaft should be used for alignment, and the base can also be used as a reference. When the axial flow fan is installed vertically, the machining surface of the V-belt wheel or the impeller hub can be used as a reference for alignment.
③Place the fan on the foundation and check the level with a level meter. A gasket can be placed between the fan base and the surface of the foundation to adjust the level, and then pour cement grout to make the joint surface fully contact. At the same time, pour grout into the reserved holes of the anchor bolts and ensure that the anchor bolts are placed vertically. After the mortar is fully hardened, tighten the bolts.
④ The anchor bolts should be evenly tightened. Over-tightening of local bolts will often cause the shaft center to shift and cause bearing damage.
2. Installation on the wall (column)
① Consider whether the wall (column) used to install the fan has sufficient strength.
② Generally, the fans with A-type transmission are allowed to be installed on the wall (post). Steel structure brackets are usually used for installation.
③Axial fan can also be installed in the wall.
④ The anchor bolts should be evenly tightened. Over-tightening of local bolts will often cause the shaft center to shift and cause bearing damage.
3. Hoisting on the ceiling
①Small fans can be installed simply by hanging screws, or they can be installed with more stable hangers.
②For medium-sized fans, a welded frame combined ceiling-type foundation should be used to hoist the fans, and it is advisable to install them on the ground as far as possible; as for large fans, the hoisting type should not be used.
4. Installed in a box (cabinet)
① As far as possible, put the fan into the box as it is to avoid unnecessary disassembly and assembly.
②It should be considered that the fan in the box can be maintained more conveniently, and an inspection door can be set in the box.
③ Full attention should be paid to the strength of the box installation structure to avoid fan vibration due to insufficient structural rigidity and strength.
④ When using the shock absorber in the box, be sure to install the fan and motor on the same base.
5. Roof installation
① For the installation of roof fans, the impact of external storms, rain and snow on the fans should be fully considered.
②When installing, it is necessary to comprehensively consider factors such as building structure and indoor air pollution sources, and arrange the installation location of each fan reasonably.
③When installing the roof fan, the fan must be installed vertically and not inclined.
④For flat roofs, concrete foundations can be used for installation; for pointed roofs (inclined roofs), steel frame structures can be used for installation. In order to avoid air leakage, thick rubber can be placed between the fan base and the installation foundation.
⑤Silica gel can be applied to the connecting bolts to prevent water leakage.
6. Installation on the floor (high bench)
①Pay attention to the rigidity and strength of the installation area to avoid resonance when the fan is running, and take reinforcement measures if necessary.
②When the fan is directly installed on the floor or platform, the cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab should be used, the thickness of the slab should not be less than 80mm, and cold-rolled steel bars should not be used.
③It is strictly forbidden to use cantilever structure on the floor and platform where the fan is installed. The span of the beam should not be greater than 6 meters.
④ Large fans cannot be installed directly on the floor, they should be supported by beams.
